Majlis Daerah Bera was established on 1 January 1998 under the Local Government Act 1976(Act171) and has been operating for nine year five moths,Bera District Concil area is 1.970 square kilometers (excluding Forest) (89.0%) and also operational area is 270 square kliometers (14.0%)
